The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of KWLH strategy on the development of geometric thinking in mathematics among sixth grade students. A semi-experimental method was used to achieve this objective After writing the objectives, writing the daily plan and preparing the geometric test consisting of (10) items for (5) skills, after determining the truth and stability of the test began to implement the experiment on (42) Students, experimental group (22) students and control group (20) students in the sixth grade of Kurdish primary school for the academic year (2024 - 2025). Both study groups were equal in terms of age in months, geometric thinking vocational test, and first semester grades.
After the experiment, a geometric thinking test was conducted for both groups and appropriate statistical tools such as Pearson, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and T.test were implemented within the framework of the SPSSS program. The results showed that there was a statistical difference between the mean scores of the students of both groups in the test of geometric thinking at the level of evidence (0.05) in favor of the experimental group, finally recommended The research proposals included the use of K.W.L.H strategy in the primary school and opening training courses for teachers to introduce them to new teaching methods and knowledge on types of thinking, especially geometric thinking and His skills.
