Research assessment policy
The Sulaimani Journal for Humanities (SJH) fully supports the principles of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA). We recognize the need to improve the ways in which the outputs of scholarly research are evaluated. SJH emphasizes the value of research based on its scientific content rather than solely on journal-based metrics such as the Journal Impact Factor.

In alignment with DORA, we:

−   Evaluate research on its own merits, independent of where it is published.

−   Encourage authors to present a full and transparent description of their work.
