Abstract


This prompted the researcher to conduct this study, as she is a lecturer in Physical Education at the College of Basic Education, Department of Art Education, University of Sulaimani. The study sample consisted of first-year students attending evening classes and had not previously engaged in any physical activity. Despite this, they suffered from joint pain due to daily fatigue, as they were teachers and government employees during the day, with responsibilities towards their families. Their busy schedules and lack of focus on health and physical fitness contributed to this. The researcher observed various types of joint pain, along with weight gain. Therefore, she attempted to study this problem and find appropriate solutions. The research aims to identify the most important body components and their relationship to the occurrence of various injuries among the study sample. The research aimed to identify differences in body composition and their relationship to the occurrence of various injuries within the research sample. The research hypothesis was: There are statistically significant differences in body composition and their relationship to the occurrence of various injuries within the research sample. The research methodology and field procedures involved using a descriptive survey approach, deemed suitable for the nature and population of the research. The sample consisted of 15 female students. The findings indicated a strong correlation between low water content, high calorie intake, and low protein levels in the body, which are among the most important body composition components contributing to the occurrence of various injuries within the research sample. Furthermore, the research found varying degrees of correlation between different body composition components and the occurrence of various injuries within the sample.
