A coin is regarded as an important historical and archaeological document, as it provides
researchers with a lot of valuable information about different periods of history, especially Islamic
periods, in the fields of politics, economics, social life, religion, and the media. As well as being of
great historical and archaeological importance, it also reflects the ruling regime of the country and
the year and place of the coin.
It is important to note that coins in general and Islamic coins, in particular, are of great importance
due to their inscriptions and images that assist researchers in confirming historical events. Moreover,
they are official and reliable documents that cannot be ignored. Islamic coins have also led to the
development of Arabic inscriptions, due to the presence of geometric, animal, human and botanical
patterns and paintings.A coin is regarded as an important historical and archaeological document, as it provides
