Abstract

 

The displacement of individuals and/or families as a situation or as a general phenomenon (which includes many countries of the world) is among the variables of the political environment affected by it and in turn affecting other variables causing multiple effects (in the areas in which they are settled) covering all aspects of life, including the economic, which is the subject of this research, and is divided between negative (most general) and positive (less and specific).

Iraq is among those countries which have experienced a mass displacement of individuals and families who settled in safer areas with no risk of danger. Those displacements affected the economy (and other life aspects) which tend to be negative more than positive. this research sheds light on this matter and also gives suggestions that may help in reducing those effects to a minimum.
