Abstract

 

The objective of the research is to set up a proposed tutorial program that depends on (Multimedia) to develop. geographical sense amongst kindergarten children. According to the objective and nature and the topic of the research, a descriptive tutorial method was used. The research collection for the geographical senses were all the topics for geographical senses for proposed system of kindergarten children that was consisted of five geographical talents. Those topics were taken from research titled “The effectiveness of a proposed geographical unit based on a Montessori approach in developing a geographical sense and some map reading skills for a kindergarten child” that was accomplished by both researchers (Maha Kamal and Yara Ibrahim) in 2017 from the journal of College of Education in the university of Asiut, Journal 33, Issue No.2. 

Also, the collection of research for the topics of patriotism senses were all the topics of patriotism senses for a proposed system for kindergarten children that consisted of nine topics about patriotism senses. Those topics were taken from the programs of the kindergarten children under the title of (Skills and Activities for Kindergarten Children) for second level, that was translated and utilized by (Nazdar Salih Hamid, Sadq Ahmed Othman, Namam Jalal Rashid, Saif Hsam Muhammad) Third Edition, 2019).

The sample of the research was the topics of geographical and patriotism senses, regarding that, the researcher prepared nine lessons for geographical senses and nine lessons for patriotism senses in a proposed tutorial program for those topics, that was prepared according to the instructions and steps for a particular example for the purpose of designing computer programs and (Multimedia). The researcher depended on the Steven and Stanley’s model

under the principles of integrated educational programs, the opinions and recommendations of proficient people from education field, and the pedagogical theories of teaching and psychology the research was carried out. In which a proposed tutorial program based on (Multimedia) for developing geographical and patriotism senses amongst kindergarten children was prepared.
