Abstract

Statistical analysis is a high level of attention by researchers and beneficiaries in various sciences and fields is an important and essential means of research and scientific studies.

Nitrate (NO3-) is composed of the elements oxygen and nitrogen, and is an important source  for plant and animal life; but too much nitrate in drinking water can be harmful to human health. Common sources of nitrate in water include plant and animal matter, human and animal waste, household septic systems, and fertilizers. Because it dissolves readily in water, nitrate from these sources is usually present at least in low concentrations in drinking-water supplies, regardless of the water source.

The purpose of this research is to study statistical data of chemical analysis limitless elements of the basic elements in water compounds is nitrate NO3, the data are taken from a chemical laboratory of Directorate Preventive health – Sulaimaniyah governorate for years (2018, 2019, 2020). The purpose of analysing chemical data by statistical methods is to make sure that the percentage of nitrates in water in Sulaimaniyah governorate is safe to drink or not?
