Abstract

The study aimed to identify the slope and contribution rate and predict the speed of some of the movements of the two legs on the skills of the players with the weapon epee of the youth, a sample of (12) players in Baghdad clubs in the fencing of the sports season (2016) and were selected by random way, and the researchers used the method The descriptive method was used to detect the regression among the investigated variables. After determining the technical research tests on the speed of the movements of the two legs (progress, regression, and lunge), the experiment was carried out. The technical tests were applied and after the results were processed statistically using the program (SPSS, V24); the researchers reached the following conclusions: The dependence of the linear regression and the percentage of contribution (skill of progress, skill of regression and lunge) on the results of the players. The numerical values ​​of the results of the competitions can be predicted by the speed of the movements of the two legs.
