Relationship of motor Flow and some kinematic variables with accuracy of the backhand
dropping shot of less than 19 years badminton players
The research significance was that the performance of the player with a high flow as well as
making the appropriate strength of the working muscles with the required speed will lead to an
improvement in the performance of the skill of backhand dropping stroke . The research problem

is limited to the obvious effect of the joints and muscles associated with the working body parts
which affect the motor performance for the skill. If the effect of the mechanical flow among the
body parts and motor transport among its parts and using the the force resulted from the movement
start till the end of the stroke and the movement flow especially among the lower limbs , trunk and
the striking arms, it will lead to performance delay and thus slowness of movement and its
ineffectiveness .
The research aims to identify Relationship of motor Flow and some kinematic variables with
accuracy of the backhand dropping stroke of under 19 years badminton Iraqi national team
players .
The researcher also discussed the motor flow and its significance in mastering the ideal
movement of the players by identifying its dimensions and how to measure them according to the
biochemistry indicators, accuracy, forms and timing. The researcher used the descriptive approach
in the method of associative relations. The research community has been determined by the Iraqi
national team in the under-19 years ,totaling 6 badminton players The researcher used the
scientific means to collect the information as well as the necessary tools for the research
requirements. The researcher conducted a preliminary experiment to find out the difficulties and
then the researcher conducted the test of the backhand dropping stroke . The researcher identified
the kinetic variables affecting the performance of the skill, then conducted the main experiment to
calculate the motor flow of the skill as a whole and test the accuracy of the skill. Then , the
researcher photographed the performance to obtain the mechanical variables and used the statistical
package (SPSS) for the purpose of processing of data statistically
The researchers concluded that the motor flow has a significant effect on the performance
output and accuracy of skill .
The researchers also recommend the need to train players and develop means and mechanical
solutions that improve the performance and movement flow of the skill through the control of
mechanical variables and the sequence of performing them easily and a better motor transfer.
