Abstract
Investment activity is an important part of the financial activities undertaken by sports organizations, including the faculties of Physical Education and Sports Science, one of the most fundamental pillars upon which some countries’ economies, and under the light of modern economic development varied goals and varied needs of sports organizations which were initially employ their funds are limited and simple goals become insufficient and unconvincing, and for several reasons, most importantly the lack of money and multiple requirements for these institutions and the lack of experience to the trend towards modern investment activity is able to keep abreast of changes an activity that institutional investment.
The importance of institutional investment from its ability to collect money from small to large investment projects and invested by departments specialized and efficient in the field of investment activity achieving a lot of goals, which is not limited to only sports organization but also include many different sectors, projects as a source of financing as well as the role of these institutions Activity effective and its impact on society positively or negatively, in this sense, and in order to keep up with the Iraqi environment variables With the advent of self-financing principle in Iraqi institutions, it is essential that physical education and science colleges sports go towards institutional investment activity in accordance with the scientific method studied to suit the nature of the investment climate in Iraq.
