Abstract


Violence against girls and women is considered one of the most widespread human rights violations in developing countries, including the Kurdistan Region - Iraq. It includes sexual, physical, psychological, and economic abuse at all ages and has no limits on age, race, culture, wealth, or geographical boundaries. This violence occurs in the home, the street, school, university, and in other places. Womens work outside the home, on the one hand, and on the other hand: The increasing use of the Internet and social media and the spread of information technologies has led to an increase in the phenomenon of violence against women, and it is considered one of the tools for harming women and girls and disturbing acts of violence against women and girls. This is a problem not only in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, but rather beyond To an international, regional and global problem.
