Abstract
The history of the Kurds is full of distinguished scholars and poets, among whom was a great poet like Malawi. What distinguishes Al-Malawi from his peers is that he has a poetic and brilliant soul that qualified him to formulate logical concepts with which to combat the opinions of his opponents, including the Mu’tazilites, the Shiites, and the philosophers. His approach does not deviate a hair from the framework drawn up in advance, but rather is committed to the general and main lines that his eminent teachers followed. Just as we find it in the introduction and conclusion of his systems “Virtue” and his doctrine of pathology. In short, he was one of the rarities of his time in knowledge, literature, virtue, and nobility. If we take a closer look at the history of his exploits, we find that the elements of the science of logic are completely clear, even if brief, as we find that every term he used preserves the firm foundations laid by the science of logic and rational laws.
We have done a modest study on those terms that were used in his system, and we have not seen - until now - anyone carry out a comprehensive study on them from this angle, so we believe that it is very important that we perform this religious and literary duty. We can say that we found many logical issues in his speech systems, the pathological doctrine in particular, In it, he referred to the division of knowledge into the present and the observable and their definition, the simple and compound entities, and the ratio between the two universals, which is a total contrast that varies into four types of contradictions, opposites, additives, faculty and lack thereof, including the first ineligibles, which are the partial form of partial meanings such as the pen, the tree, and the stone.. and the ineligibles. The second is the comprehensive mental images of the universal meanings, such as the human being, as evidence, not as a concept. Because there is no such thing outside as man, but there are examples of him. In addition to touching on productive analogy and issues as well, he also referred to other logical topics.
