Abstract
To make the literary text interesting and successful; For this purpose, the author must resort to all the genres and arts that are able to make the text so solid and effective that it is able to attract the attention of the recipient literary and linguistics.
One of the genres that gives the text more thirst and strength and creates a better impact on the recipient is the unexpected genre, because the genre can cross the horizon of the recipient's thinking and give more enjoyment and attract to the text.
Because of the relationship and interaction between the text and the reader; We thought it important to look at it and emphasize the unexpected genre in creating and strengthening this relationship, and we thought it good to confirm this fact with several examples of Rumi's poetry This study.
Therefore, the research aims to highlight the role of unexpected gender and its effect on the recipient in Rumi's poetry, through the methods and factors that fulfill this task, such as: poetic imagery, rhetoric, rhetorical art, language games, contradiction. This is done in two themes: the first theme covers the theoretical aspect, the second theme covers the implementation and analysis.
