Abstract
Belief in destiny is one of the principles of Islamic thought and belief that has a special place in the books of belief and theology and scholars and experts of Islamic belief have different opinions about the nature of this belief. This difference is related to the concept of destiny and its role in life, as well as its role in coercion. Some scholars have understood God's judgment as meaning that man has no choice, while others have thought that man is freer. Scholars Ash'ari and Maturidi have chosen a middle view. The great Kurdish scholar Sayyid Abdul Rahimi Tawgoezi Rumi is one of the great scholars of Ash'ari sect who wrote three books on Ash'ari thought and beliefs: Al-Fazilah in Arabic, Al-Fawa'ih in Persian and Al-Aqeedah al-Marziyah in Kurdish Ash'ari was busy and one of his topics was the destiny of man. Rumi also brought the opinions of other sects and was engaged in the opinions of Maulana Khalid Naqshbandi from a mystical point of view. This article aims to identify and investigate Rumi's thoughts on destiny. The sources of the article are books and the author has done so in the manner of an interpretive narrative.
