This research aims to study the life and work of the Kurdish scholar Ala' al-Din al-Sajjadi, one of the most prominent figures in Kurdish thought and literature in the twentieth century. It does so by tracing his scholarly career, analyzing his cultural and literary output, and demonstrating his impact on consolidating Kurdish cultural identity and documenting heritage.

The research employs a descriptive-analytical approach, relying on primary and secondary sources, both Arabic and Kurdish, to reveal al-Sajjadi's scholarly standing and his role in journalism, education, and heritage research. The study concludes that al-Sajjadi formed a link between classical heritage and modern research in Kurdish studies. He was not merely a transmitter of heritage, but a critic, analyst, and historian of Kurdish literature, contributing to its codification and documentation.

This research presents a study of the life and work of the Kurdish scholar and writer Ala' al-Din al-Sajjadi (1907–1984), through a review of primary and secondary sources and an analysis of his contributions to journalism, education, the judiciary, and literary research. This research examines the historical and social context in which Professor Sajjadi worked, discusses his most important works and their impact on Kurdish and Arabic studies, and offers recommendations for future research.
