Prof. Dr. Othman Ali Mohammed Hamed1
This research examines the efforts of Dr. Muhammad Salih Mulla Hassan al-Hawrini and his role in serving Islamic law and spreading religious, educational, and media awareness in Baghdad from 1968 to 1995. During this time, he contributed articles, translations, and explanations to official newspapers and magazines, and presented special religious preaching programs on Baghdad radio and television in both Arabic and Kurdish. He also held administrative and professional positions and authored religious and literary books. Therefore, this research aims to highlight these commendable efforts during his years in Baghdad, then discuss his departure from Baghdad for teaching and media work, and finally, his return to Iraq, where he assumed positions in the Department of Religious Endowments and continued his work in teaching, writing, and public speaking until his death in Sulaymaniyah.
