Among the Kurdish nation and throughout its glorious history, there have emerged distinguished scholars and writers whose like is rarely seen in the world, who served Islam in various Islamic and intellectual sciences with utmost sincerity and dedication. Dr. Muhammad Ramadan was born in the city of Kirkuk in the year (1937). He grew up in a religious family known for piety and righteousness. He began his journey in the old way, which is the Twelver Shiite school, which contains all Islamic sciences, including theology and logic. After that study, the student is given, after completing all these sciences, the scientific license from the Grand Sheikh, and it is called the license in the Twelver Shiite sciences. God Almighty enabled him to complete all these sciences to obtain the scientific license from the Grand Sheikh in the northern region, Rida Effendi Al-Wa’iz, who lived after one hundred years. He had obtained the license from the grandfather of Sheikh Amjad Al-Zahawi, may God have mercy on them all, who was the Mufti of Iraq in the Ottoman era. He studied the rational and transmitted sciences with a large group of scholars until he became a brilliant scholar qualified and experienced in teaching. He had a prestigious position among his circles, and he was known for his piety and humility, and for being ascetic about the world and its people. He learned from many students, and in turn he wrote valuable works, most of which were in the field of theology, logic, and categories. The third section focuses on Dr. Al-Shawani's logical contributions, examining his perspective on logic and its importance, his methodology in logic, and his logical sources.
