Abstract

This research frames how to discover and appreciate the role of pragmalinguistics in literary texts and analyzes how language is used to convey meaning. Pragmatics and literature share a common relationship with the users of language, the way of using language and how to convey meaning, which is the common point of these two fields The hidden meanings behind the words, terms and lines of poetry, which the poet indirectly refers to, are due to a sentence of pragmatic reference, because pragmatics is the science of text language and the science of how linguistic symbols depend on their use. Therefore, this research aims to research according to pragmatic theory in practical literature in general and in the text of Rumi's poetry in particular and focus on the psychological, cultural, cultural, social and educational dimensions of Rumi's poetry approves.
To do this, we present the research hypothesis with the following questions: What is pragmalinguistics? How is a poetic text interpreted according to semiopragmatics? Why do environmental factors such as (occasion, time, place, speech partners, purpose, intention and desire, etc.) affect both the act of language production and the act of language interpretation? How to unravel the hidden meaning behind linguistic tools, what are the tools to determine the meaning of a message in poetry?
