Abstract

Kfri is one of the oldest cities in South Kurdistan, since ancient times has been the center of life, at the same time has an important administrative position, of course, administrative changes have had their impact on social and economic development It has played its role as an administrative unit. In order to present the most obvious administrative changes in Kfri district during the years (1945-1975) based on several sources, this research has been prepared. In this study, the descriptive-analytical approach was used. As a result, it was revealed that the administrative boundaries of Kfri district have undergone several changes, including reducing its administrative boundaries and the formation of several other districts in the districts of its administrative boundaries, which was largely related to government policy and geographical location. It is noteworthy that Kfri district was in progress until the late 1950s and early 1960s, but after the 1960s, this progress has declined.
