Abstract


This research entitled (The role of new media in introducing the archaeological sites of Kafri to attract new tourism market) is an attempt to present the role of new media in introducing the archaeological sites of Kafri.
The problem of this study is the lack of attention of new media in introducing archaeological sites to attract new tourism markets economically and the lack of services for archaeological sites in Kafri.
The research used descriptive method to collect information about some of the archaeological sites and analyze and present them in the research through respondents' responses
New media is considered important in defining archaeological areas to attract new tourist markets. That the city contains, whether natural, monumental, historical, or any element of tourism attraction, using all the advanced tools of new media and communication, such as film and advertising, able to attract locals.
The importance of the study is that MediaNew plays a major role in this field through various advertising tools represented by visual and audio media and platforms, exhibitions, films, publications, etc.
This study aims to determine the role of new media in introducing the tourism sector in promoting archaeological sites and attracting new tourism markets and how to increase its efficiency through new media strategy for the city of Kafri
