Abstract


This study aims to clarify the archaeological excavations in the archaeological sites of Kafri mentioned in Mr. Rich's trip, especially the archaeological sites of Karaoglan, which is an archaeological area Kafriya, to provide more information about the excavations that Mr. Reach and his colleagues have conducted, what they found, what they did to them, to what era they go back how to confirm this information, or to On the contrary, in this study we have worked on determining the geographical location that Mr. Rich calls Karaoğlan, compared to the present city of Kafri, based on the geographical location determined by Mr. Rich in View of the corners of north to south, east to west, in a field that now makes the hills opposite the old Imam Mohammed neighborhood, known as (beyond the stream), in the foothills of the northeastern mountains of Kafri The archaeological remains mentioned by Mr. Rich from different periods such as Seleucid, Babylonian, Achaemenid and Sassanid, some of them are architectural and some of them are pottery, compared to the history of the region They are an important part of the history of Kurdistan and Kafrin.
