Abstract


Goradakhma as a living monument has an ancient history in the Kurdistan region in particular. There are many graves in Kufri district whose history has not been fully established. Some of them remain and can be used for archaeological excavations, while others have been distorted or destroyed by natural and man-made disasters. In this study, we have tried to rely on a number of different sources, field research and comparison of times, to reach the truth of their history. However, archaeological excavations are the main reasons for achieving this goal.
According to the construction method, history of life and location of the tombs in Kufri and comparison with the tombs of other areas and based on a number of historical sources (which are mentioned in detail in this study). It dates back to the Sassanid period.
The discovery of the complete history of these tombs and their period is of great importance in proving the history of life and reconstruction of Kufri in the second and third successors, which is still debated. This study highlights this issue.
