Abstract

World War I and its consequences, for the peoples of the Ottoman Empire, was a wrestling between two main beliefs of the time, namely Islam among Turks, Kurds, Arabs and other communities such as Christianity, Armenians and Assyrians were also of great importance to the politics of the period by the allies. Without a scientific interpretation of the religious and ethnic motives and understanding the obvious and unknown goals of the parties involved in the Great War, we cannot understand the events and their consequences. During the war and even after the war, the Kurdish economic and social situation was in danger. Both sides of Kurdistan, Ottoman and Iranian (Qajar) Kurdistan, were two main areas on the battlefield of the powerful states. In this study, an attempt has been made to discuss the important and sensitive position of the strategic areas of Kufri and Khanaqin in the political and military equations of the British state during the First World War We, it hasn't been taken care of.
