Improving mechanical indicators using innovative training programs has become a key tool for achieving optimal performance. This research aims to describe the effect of muscular strength training on improving the mechanical indicators associated with high jump performance. The significance of this research lies in the fact that battle rope training is one of the modern and effective methods for improving rapid muscular strength. It combines muscle strengthening, increased endurance, and stimulation of the nervous system to function more efficiently. By using these exercises regularly and systematically, athletes can achieve higher performance in their various sports. The research problem lies in the challenges athletes face in achieving optimal performance in the high jump due to weak muscular strength or the lack of specialized training.
The main question is: How does muscular strength training affect the mechanical indicators of the high jump? The study aimed to: identify the optimal mechanical indicators that enhance athletic performance, the effect of muscular strength training using battle ropes on some mechanical indicators of the high jump, and the effect of muscular strength training on improving high jump performance. The research community was determined by the researchers and consisted of high jumpers under 20 years of age at the National Center for Sports Talent Care / Baghdad Governorate, numbering (7) runners from the youth category under the age of 20. After that, the researchers deliberately selected the research sample, which consisted of (5) jumpers.
