Social media stands out as a vital tool for supporting the Kurdish language, allowing individuals to publish content and interact in their native language, enhancing its use in the digital space. This research aims to understand how social media platforms affect the Kurdish language and how to strengthen linguistic identity in the face of the challenges of modern technology. The research demonstrates that these platforms not only promote language use but also represent a space for formulating a renewed linguistic identity in light of developments in modern technology. However, these platforms face numerous challenges in the face of artificial intelligence technologies The research adopted a descriptive survey approach to collect and analyze data. This approach was implemented on a sample of 200 participants from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq through an electronic questionnaire distributed online. A set of qualitative questions were also directed to a number of Kurdish media specialists, with the aim of enriching the results and analyzing phenomena in depth from the perspective of experts familiar with the reality of Kurdish digital media and its challenges.
