The aim of this study is to determine the level of professional satisfaction of educational counselors according to the principles of (salary, social status, social relationships), presenting the factors affecting professional satisfaction in terms of (administrative, working environment, training courses). The first part of the research includes the main categories of the research and definition of concepts and previous research, the second part of the research is the importance of professional satisfaction and its effects and characteristics of educational guidance and duties The research method (descriptive, social survey, comparative) was used. The sample of the research consists of (100) educational counselors who were randomly selected.
1- The level of professional satisfaction of educational guides according to the principles of (social status and social relations) in public schools in central Sulaimani is high, but according to the principle of (salary) is low.
2. The satisfaction of educational guides in their profession is high.
3. The relationship between professional satisfaction and professional practice of counselors in schools is positive.
4- There is a statistical relationship between professional satisfaction and (administrative aspects, working environment and participation in training courses), which is the reason for the commitment of instructors to their profession in school.
