This study undertakes a spatial and geographical analysis of the natural ponds in the Sidekan district, aiming to assess their potential for developing the sustainable ecotourism sector in the area. Through the application of Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques, the research identifies the natural and spatial characteristics of the ponds, such as their geographical location, area, water source, and accessibility. It also highlights the environmental aspects of the surrounding areas, including the types of natural vegetation. The significance of this study lies in providing a scientific foundation for decision-makers and relevant stakeholders to formulate a comprehensive and sustainable plan for ecotourism development in the Sidekan district. This is achieved by identifying the ponds with the greatest potential to attract tourists, while also proposing appropriate measures to protect the environment and natural resources of the area, ensuring a balance between economic growth and environmental conservation. Finally, the study presents several recommendations and proposals for developing the tourism infrastructure in the region, such as establishing tourist trails, providing essential services, and raising awareness among the local community and tourists regarding the importance of preserving these natural assets.
