Abstract
The research aimed to investigate the effect of using some strategies for solving mathematical problems on the achievement of eighth-grade students in schools in Sulaimani Governorate. The sample consisted of (50) eighth-grade students from the Cord Genius National School, with a ratio of (25) for each group (experimental and control), and a sample was prepared. (25) daily plans for both the experimental and control group, and its validity was found by presenting it to a number of experts and specialists. In light of the title, an achievement test was constructed, consisting of (20) multiple-choice items.
