Abstract
Health services are one of the services that play a major role in cities and become a civilization and development of the city, provided that they provide the medical needs of all residents of the city and meet international standards The aim of the study is to present health services in the city of Sayed Sadiq for the year 2024. An evaluation of health services in the study area compared to the standards of health services in the Federal Republic of Iraq was conducted using geographic information systems. For this purpose, the research was divided into three chapters. The first chapter is an introduction to the research area and the distribution of health services in Sayed Sadiq. The second chapter is an analysis of the spatial characteristics of health services in the city of Sayed Sadiq and the third chapter was devoted to assessing the functional capacity of health services and the future prospects of health services in the city. For this purpose, several methods were used, including descriptive and analytical methods. At the end of the study, we found that there are only (1) fifty-bed general hospital, (2) health centers and (3) health centers, as well as (71) doctors and (216) health professionals. 6) The number of pharmacies and laboratories (3) laboratories and the number of x-rays (2) does not meet the standards of health services of the Federal Republic of Iraq.
