Abstract

Summary: Our research titled "Text Analysis Based on the Method of Psychological Criticism" (e.g., a poem by Latif Hamat and Abdullah Pasha) was chosen because the content of the texts themselves has a psychological aspect, so we used Freud's psychoanalytic theory to analyze both texts. This study consists of three themes: The first is titled "A Gateway to the Method of Psychological Criticism," where we briefly discussed psychological criticism and presented the ideas of Freud, Jung, and Adler. The second part of the book is called "The Relationship Between Psychology and Literature," where the relationship between psychology and literature is discussed as two intersecting circles, including themes of optimism, anger, passion, fantasies, and sexual intolerance. Chapter 3: In this chapter, we discuss the importance of the Spirit of Truth.Freud has distorted the texts of Latif Hamdallah and Abdullah. We have presented the results of our research in several ways, then summarized them in English and cited the sources we used.
