Abstract

This research evaluates the impact of the 4H strategy on developing creative thinking skills in 7th-grade students in the Social Values and Skills subjects.  The researchers tried to test three hypotheses in order to test the effect of the above strategy. The experimental student groups consisted of 70 students from public primary schools in Slemani Governorate’s central district during the academic year 2024–2025. The students were divided equally into two groups. The students were selected carefully so that they were fitted for age, the average of their last academic year, prior academic performance in Social Values and Skills grades, and their parents’ education levels.

Researchers used the Torrance Test as a main research tool to get the results and analyze the data. The results showed that the 4H strategy significantly improved creative thinking (p < 0.05) compared to traditional teaching methods. That means the 4H strategy has positive effects on creative thinking for social skills and values education.
