The research aims to discover:
The differences between the members of the experimental group that used the performance-based assessment and the control group that used the traditional method used in collecting legal materials in football.
The researcher used the experimental approach due to its suitability to the nature of the research. Conducting homogeneity and equivalence in the variables of age, achievement and intelligence.
The research tool was represented by the cognitive achievement test in football law prepared by (Ahmed, 2019), and the validity and reliability of the test was confirmed, and after completing the application of the educational program and data processing by appropriate statistical means, the following conclusions were reached: -
1- The performance-based evaluation contributed positively to the collection of legal subjects specific to football.
2- The size of the effect of the performance-based evaluation strategy that was studied by the experimental group is better than the method used by the control group in the collection of football legal subjects to a large extent.
The researcher recommended the need for teachers to participate in a workshop to learn how to apply evaluation methods in the light of modern teaching strategies.
