Abstract


The subject of the research in the Maristan District witnessed two differences during the reign of
Prince Ahmed bin Marwan, nicknamed the Victory of the State (402-453 AH / 1011-1061 AD), and
the study of the construction and flowering movement in scientific fields, including the construction
of the Maristan District in 414 AH, when the victory of the state assumed power, perhaps because of
its knowledge, virtue, ability and competence was The reason for the prosperity of his kingdom, and
the building of Bimaristan in his capital, separating and realizing what they wanted of development,
economic and political development.
Which led many doctors to two differences, because the Prince is a lover of science and scholars
receives and appreciates them and his love for science and scholars. In order to clarify part of that
period of building two districts, the types of schools and the development of schools in them by
bringing doctors and work in them and developing what they wrote through their medical writings
and opening medical schools to learn new students, which led to the port of other semesters in the
neighboring cities and even after the demise of the Marwani Emirate in 487 AH, He relied on a
number of medical sources and morals, including the book "The Serious Relationships" by Ibn
Shaddad, the book "Layers of Physicians" by Ibn Abi Asiba, and the book "Calling Doctors" by his
author Ibn Battlan.
As for the translated foreign references, they were of clear benefit to this study, among which
were: the book (The History of the Bimaristan in Islam) by Ahmed Issa, the book (The Dostokian
State) by Abd al-Raqib Yusuf, who provided me with a lot, and the book (Characters who made
history) by Mahmoud Salama Al Hayisha ...
