Abstract

The extension of the path and forms of motorways in the region is the result of crossing multiple
stages, each of these stage had a role in the development and prosperity of motorways in the region.
Without any doubt, these roads in terms of their beginnings to its laws and recommendation, given
that Theses roads are in the region and so far are part of Iraq, so we see that the prosperity and
development of the roads has not been well and successful due to the political and military climate in
the region.
In terms of forms of road distribution, are identical to the distribution of roads in the rest of the
Iraqi regions, but so far there are no highways in the region in which these roads are located in the
Iraq regions.
In this study, we talk about the geographical distribution of motorways (main and subsidiary) in
several areas, and we compare the administrative units of the study area (governorate) in several
areas, so that we can show the difference in these distributions.
