Abstract

This study titled (The historical, archeological and religious capacities of tourism development in the Darbandikhan district) the aims to clarify and analyze the ability of history, archeology, religion and issues in front of the development of tourism in the district of Darbandikhan and that the study area is one of the important areas and is rich in various human components that can be development of tourism in the region. Although, there are many existences of various human resources tourism development in the region, many problems are obstacles to the development of tourism in the research area, especially the lack of tourism services and poor roads. In order to achieve this objective, the research adopts descriptive and analytical methods, and was based on the primary data is collected form (276) a questionnaire and discussion with tables, maps, and pictures. The research has reached a number of conclusions, most no tingly the ability of history, archeology and religion of the region that have made it an attraction for tourists, such as the (Sassanid temple, the archeological site of the Paikuli, Marqad Mawlawi...etc.). AT the end, several recommendations were presented to solve the problems and plan the future of the darbandikhan district. This will lead to an increase in the number of tourists and development of tourism sector in the study area.
